How This Tool Works
The Grant Eligibility Finder is an informational screening tool that compares your responses against the published eligibility criteria for each of our grant programs. It is not an application and does not constitute a guarantee of funding.
Step 1: Profile Assessment
The tool collects basic information about your organization type, project focus area, requested funding level, geographic service area, and project timeline. These five dimensions correspond to the primary eligibility filters used by our Grants Committee during initial application screening. Each question maps directly to published program criteria, ensuring that your results reflect actual program requirements rather than subjective assessments.
Step 2: Criteria Matching
Your responses are compared against the eligibility requirements of all seven active grant programs simultaneously. Programs that match on four or more of five criteria dimensions are classified as "Strong Matches," while those matching on three dimensions are classified as "Possible Matches." The algorithm weights all criteria equally because our programs use threshold-based eligibility rather than competitive scoring at the initial screening stage.
Step 3: Personalized Results
Your results page displays all matched programs with their current award ranges, application deadlines, and program descriptions. Strong Matches indicate that your profile aligns closely with the program's target applicant pool. Possible Matches suggest partial alignment that may warrant a conversation with our program officers, who can assess additional factors not captured by this screening tool, including organizational capacity, community need, and strategic fit.
